quid in V. T. fuerint, notum, ex Exod. c. 25. v. 23. Reponebantur illi in Mensa Aurea, (de qua vide supra) in Sancto, instratâ veste hyacinthinâ, cui impositae 12. lances, accipiendis panibus, totidemque acerrae ture repletae. Collocabantur autem panes duplici ordine, utrinque seni, qui sibi mutuo incumbebant, interpositis calamis, ut Iudaei volunt, ne vitium contraherent. Panes autem facierum appellabantur et Mensa facierum, Numer. c. 4. 7. Sabbatôque accedente Panes renovabantur, veteresque Sacerdotibus cedebant, Levit. c. 24. v. 9. Ad horum imitationem in Charta apud Car. du Fresne Panes propositionis, primitiis ac decimis Ecclesiae debitis iunguntur. Vide quoque supra. Panis Eucharisticus.
